Press release -
Free surfing at Swedavia’s airports
Quick and easy are what characterise the free WiFi service that Swedavia is launching today at the Group’s airports acrossSweden. For passengers who want to access digital travel documents or use their time at the airport to surf, download documents and send e-mails at no cost, all that is needed is a simple click on Swedavia’s web portal. That generates an SMS (text message) with a code that they enter to begin surfing.
“We want people to look forward to visiting our airports, and we know there is a great need among our passengers for easy Internet access. By launching free WiFi, we hope it will be even easier for people on the move,” says Michael Persson-Gripkow, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer at Swedavia.
Users can be connected for three hours or use up to 100 MB of data a day at no charge. So domestic passengers flying between two Swedavia airports can easily surf for free upon arrival if they have time left. Broadband speed is up to 20 Mbps.
