Michael Kors opens at Stockholm Arlanda Airport
Fashion giant Michael Kors opens a store at Stockholm Arlanda Airport on December 1, 2014. The new handbag and accessories store is a next step towards providing an offering of international brands at the airport.
As more and more passengers fly out of Stockholm Arlanda, there is growing demand for new shopping experiences, and the airport continues its efforts to provide additional international brands. The latest arrival is Michael Kors, which has opened a new store for luxury fashion in Terminal 5. This is the second Michael Kors venue to open in Sweden. Passengers will be offered an exciting selection of handbags, watches, jewellery and other accessories from the full Michael Kors range.
Michael Kors is considered by many to be the master of good-looking, wearable luxury fashion, and the brand is known for its glamorous, timeless clothes and accessories inspired by the typical New York woman.
- We know that many of our passengers like to come earlier to the airport to shop, eat and enjoy the atmosphere. Opening the Michael Kors shop is in line with our aim to offer our passengers an experience, and something extra, when they travel from Stockholm Arlanda,”says Kjell-Åke Westin, Airport Director at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
The new store is a part of a focus of Stockholm Arlanda and Airport Retail Group to offers travellers an increased shopping experience.
- We are very pleased about opening and operating the new Michael Kors store at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. We share the passion for a sense of glamour and high customer service with Michael Kors and look forward to bring this exciting brand with great products to all passengers travelling from the airport, says Roel Huinink, Director at the Airport Retail Group.
Last year, more than 40 shops and restaurants opened or were renewed at Stockholm Arlanda. In addition, Terminal 5 was given a luxury revamp to meet the demand for more strong international brands. New operations that have already opened include Lexington and Victoria’s Secret as well as an haute perfumery with exclusive fragrances.
