To support the electric aircraft manufacturer Heart Aerospace in the development of its first electric aircraft, the ES-30, Swedavia has agreed to take a seat on heart Aerospace’s newly formed industry advisory board.
Ryanair continues to expand and invest in the Swedish market and will launch ten new international direct routes for the summer season, with a number of these to brand-new European destinations from Stockholm Arlanda Airport, as well as two domestic routes to Luleå and Visby. That means a total of 35 new routes and more than 100 weekly departures from Arlanda.
Swedavia’s work continues with Airport City Göteborg, currently taking shape at Göteborg Landvetter Airport, with Swedavia now selling the last building rights available in Logistics Park 1. The buyer is Nordiska Galleriet Properties AB. To meet the strong demand for logistics properties at the airport, work has now begun on Logistics Park 2, which will cover twice as much space as the first.
On Friday, October 1, Visby Airport’s new charging infrastructure for electric aircraft will be inaugurated. The inauguration of the new electric aircraft charging stations is taking place in conjunction with the first electric aircraft also landing at the airport.
