Swedavia nominated for Digital PR Award

The nominations for the Digital PR Awards 2017 were announced today by Mynewsdesk, the world's leading all-in-one brand newsroom and multimedia PR platform. Swedavia is pleased to be nominated in the Transport category.

Swedavia owns, operates and manages ten State-owned airports in Sweden. Swedavia works actively in its climate change and environmental work in order to be a role model in sustainability. It is entrusted with the task of creating the access Sweden needs to facilitate travel, business and meetings.

“We are very proud and pleased about the nomination. It is testimony to our long-term work to provide continuous and accurate information about our mission and operations and to the fact that we are quick and accessible. It spurs us on knowing that our efforts have been recognised,” says Linda Sjödin, chief market and communication officer at Swedavia.

The aim of the Digital PR Awards, hand out by Mynewsdesk, is to spotlight effective PR work that also produces results. The nomination jury noted the following factors as being the basis for its decision:

          • Appearance and layout of digital newsroom
          • Breadth and variation of content
          • Engagement, reach and results of PR activities

The companies nominated will now be considered by an external jury, and the winners will be presented on March 7.
