Swedavia is implementing an organisational change which means that as of 1 July, the Project business unit will be part of the Facilities and Systems business unit. The merger of the project and management organisations is being carried out after Johan Bill, Director of Projects, has chosen to retire and thereby leave Swedavia and Swedavia's executive management.

Swedavia has appointed Karl Eklund to be the new airport director of Stockholm Arlanda Airport as well as director of Swedavias airports in Stockholm. Karl Eklund has worked most recently as Deputy CEO of SAS Ground Handling Sweden and has extensive experience from previous executive positions and assignments in the aviation industry. He will take over the position on February 1, 2023.
