Swedavia named as Karriärföretag (Career Company) 2024

For the second year in a row, Swedavia has been named one of Sweden's most attractive employers by Karriärföretagen. In the motivation for the award, Karriärföretagen highlights Swedavia as one of the country's most attractive employers with its exciting role in the aviation industry, where the opportunity is given to participate in future-proofing air travel through smooth, safe and sustainable travel, as well as Swedavia's priority work to be an inclusive workplace.

Last year, Swedavia was named one of Sweden's most attractive employers by Karriärföretagen, and this year too, Swedavia received the prestigious award as one of the Career Companies of the Year 2024.
Swedavia has also won two awards - one for "Career Website of the year 2023" and "Social Media Page of the Year 2023" when Karriärföretagen’s Career Company of the Year was announced this autumn.

"It is very gratifying to once again be named one of Sweden's most attractive employers. This indicates that our efforts to strengthen Swedavia's employer brand are continuing to yield results. We are proud of our talented employees who contribute to this every day and are part of building Swedavia going forward," says Marie Wiksborg, Director of Business Support at Swedavia.

Swedavia strives to be an attractive workplace, and competent and committed employees are the key to the company’s success. This means taking concrete measures to attract new employees, but it is at least as important to retain the many skilled employees we already have at Swedavia and to provide them with the opportunity to grow within the company. We strive to ensure that employees feel encouraged to pursue internal mobility and that there are good opportunities to try new areas.

Karriärföretagen’s motivation for the award:
"Swedavia is one of Sweden's most attractive employers with its exciting role in the aviation industry. The company offers the opportunity to be part of an organisation that has a significant impact on the country's and the world's travel trends. Through its work to make travel easy, safe and sustainable, Swedavia attracts talents who share their vision for the future. The company also prioritises diversity and inclusion, creating an inclusive workplace where every employee can thrive and contribute to Swedavia’s success story. Swedavia offers exciting career opportunities and the opportunity to be part of an organisation that constantly strives to improve and shape the future of the aviation industry."
