Norwegian to launch six new routes for summer 2024
The well-known airline company Norwegian will launch six new routes ahead of the summer program of 2024, with destinations new to Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport respectively.
Norwegian is to expand at both Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport ahead of the summer program 2024. In total, Norwegian will launch six new routes of which two is new destinations offered from the airports. From Stockholm Arlanda the new destination Bari, Italy, will be operated, as well as Billund, Denmark. At Göteborg Landvetter, Norwegian will be operating London, Nice, Palma and the new destination of Pristina, Kosovo.

Starting on May 4th, 2024, Norwegian will operate Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) – Bari (BRI) one a week, and Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) – Billund (BLL) twice a week starting on June 19th, 2024.
Starting on May 2nd, 2024, Gothenburg Landvetter (GOT) – London (LGW) will be operated four times a week and Gothenburg Landvetter (GOT) – Nice (NCE) two times a week starting on May 3rd, 2024. The route Gothenburg Landvetter (GOT) – Palma (PMI) will be operated three times a week from April 6th, 2024, and Gothenburg Landvetter (GOT) – Pristina (PRN) once a week starting June 14th, 2024.

Swedavia has carried out ambitious climate work for many years. All ten of its airports achieved the goal of zero fossil carbon dioxide emissions from their own operations by year-end 2020. Swedavia also works actively to promote the switch to sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and has the goal that five per cent of all fuel used for refuelling at Swedish airports shall be fossil-free by 2025. Swedavia’s climate transition work and its pioneering work to operate climate-smart airports have won international awards, and in 2021 the trade organisation Airports Council International (ACI) named Stockholm Arlanda Airport Eco-Innovation Airport of the Year.
