Ryanair to launch 4 new routes for summer 2024
The Irish airline company Ryanair will launch four new routes ahead of the summer program of 2024, at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport respectively.
Ryanair is to expand at both Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport ahead of the summer program 2024 and will launch four new routes. From Stockholm Arlanda, the Irish airline will service Vilnius in Lithuania as well as the Greek island Rhodes. At Göteborg Landvetter, Ryanair will be operating Brussels in Belgium and Rome, Italy.

Starting on March 31st, 2024, Ryanair will operate Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) – Vilnius (VNO) twice a week, and Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) – Rhodes (RHO) twice a week starting on April 2nd, 2024.
Starting on March 31st, 2024, Gothenburg Landvetter (GOT) – Rome (FCO) will be operated three times a week and Gothenburg Landvetter (GOT) – Brussels (CRL) two times a week.

Swedavia’s work for fossil-free aviation
Swedavia has carried out ambitious climate work for many years. All ten of its airports achieved the goal of zero fossil carbon dioxide emissions from their own operations by year-end 2020. Swedavia also works actively to promote the switch to sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and has the goal that five per cent of all fuel used for refuelling at Swedish airports shall be fossil-free by 2025. Swedavia’s climate transition work and its pioneering work to operate climate-smart airports have won international awards, and in 2021 the trade organisation Airports Council International (ACI) named Stockholm Arlanda Airport Eco-Innovation Airport of the Year.
